MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by President Glotzl at noon.
Prayer
Opening prayer was led by Don Nelson.
Pledge
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Dennis Chafa who graciously provided a flag.
Minutes from January Meeting
President Glotzl reviewed Minutes from the January meeting and they were approved.
Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s Report was given by Treasurer Nelson. Discussion followed about the use of membership dues in that $24 of the $25 for membership goes to AFRW. Issues discussed included raising dues and also exploring fundraising avenues.
Dennis then led discussion about the District 1 meeting to be held in Batesville on March 18. He described what Delegates can do and who can be a Delegate. He said this is an important meeting and urged anyone interested to go. Proxies are important if a delegate cannot attend.
Lynne Weaver then discussed legislation SB250 which deals with election integrity and using paper ballots.
Sheila Atchley addressed the issue of the millage tax relating to remodeling the high school. She is talking with Superintendent Jake Long for information.
President Glotzl then brought up the subject of fundraising with perhaps selling cookies or calling people to ask for donations. She then brought up the subject of the Lincoln Day Dinner, and Treasurer Nelson said it would be beneficial to help with the Dinner since 25% of the proceeds come to TLRW.
Mary Ellen Anderson then presented a mockup of a flyer which could be distributed to let people know about the TLRW. She will continue to work on it.

Life is hectic and challenges are growing in number and complexity. There is safety in numbers and together we can ensure that the community we want is the community we live in. We work in a number of ways towards this goal; we welcome women to come join us to build a stronger, happier community.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.
