Baxter County Republican Men’s Club
March 2, 2023

Note for the record: February 2023 meeting was cancelled due to ice storm.

The Baxter County Republican Men’s Club met noon, March 2, 2023 at the Mountain Home Elk’s Lodge. President Waldrop chaired the meeting with 18 members and 1 guest in attendance.

A moment of silence was observed and pledge of allegiance was recited. Secretary report was given and the Treasurers report given by Rod Soubers. Dennis Frank reported on Quorum Court activity and Chris Chamberlin on BCRC happenings. Bill Andres gave the Election Commissioner report.

Old Business: Election of Club Officers
The following individuals were nominated and voted in by acclamation; none had opponents.
Their two year term starts immediately.

President - Dirk Waldrop
1st Vice - Dennis Chafa
2nd Vice - Bill Andres
Secretary - Gary Smith
Treasurer - Dennis Frank

New Business: A general discussion ensued as to the status of the County Lincoln Day Dinner. Possible keynote speakers were suggested and caterer/venue options were considered. Additional discussion on the By-law regulations pertaining to the support of Republican candidates during primary elections. An attempt will be made to get our Face book account back in club control.
